Niko Push Button Cover
thingiverse
This new cover replaces the outdated Niko push-button switch cover, offering a slightly larger design - a 0.1 mm increase over its predecessor. The result is a more seamless integration with your overall setup, as the button appears flush against its surroundings. However, this upgrade comes with a trade-off: sometimes, the buttons may rub against each other due to reduced clearance. You'll notice less wiggle room between them. Installing these covers proves to be a bit trickier than their original counterparts, mainly because of the 3D printing process that leaves behind rough cylindrical pivots. If you simply force-fit them, the holder clamp on the button housing will jam instead of opening up properly. To resolve this, I recommend carefully cutting a small section from the holder clamp to create a funnel-shaped top. Additionally, applying a thin layer of vaseline to the cylinder on the button can make installation smoother.
