Nikko Bison / Thunderbolt F10 Rims
thingiverse
Front and rear rims for the Nikko Bison/Thunderbolt F10 buggy were created because the original ones had faded into a yellow-ish tone. Print Settings Printer: Creality CR-10 was used to print these rims. Rafts: No rafts were printed. Supports: Yes, supports were added to hold the design in place. Resolution: 0.2mm resolution was achieved through careful calibration of the printer. Infill: 100% infill density was chosen for maximum strength. Notes: Made entirely from scratch in Autodesk Inventor 2017 software. The original design was altered to require fewer supports, but additional supports must be added under the hub and along the edge of the rim. To avoid errors, ensure that "extra restart distance" is not set in the printer settings, as it can damage the small details on the front of the rim. Personal preference dictates printing with the front facing up, and rectilinear external infill produces a more visually appealing result than concentric infill.
