Nightrider Holder
thingiverse
This is a holder designed to keep an Ambrosia Blucon Nightrider attached securely to a Freestyle Libre sensor. I don't like wearing straps around my arm because it's uncomfortable, so I created a holder that attaches directly to the Libre between its adhesive tape and the sensor itself, making room for the Nightrider. This design allows for easy removal of the holder while taking a shower or going to the pool without damaging the sensor. The frame is designed to be removable by firmly holding the Libre to the skin while pulling the frame off, ensuring that the entire device can be easily taken apart and reassembled as needed. **Update 04.04.2018:** Nyemrinju submitted an improved version of the holder with a 4-way clip. Thank you, Nyemrinju, for contributing this design to the community. If you're interested in downloading his version, please select the two files with "Nyemrinju" in their names. I'm currently working on a smoother and more reliably printing version of the holder, which should be released soon. You may download and print this design for yourself or others, but selling printed copies is strictly prohibited. I would appreciate it if you left a make or note to let me know if you find this design useful. **Update 29.04.2018:** I uploaded a slightly improved version 1.1 of the holder, featuring a more reliably printing snap-in mechanism to the Libre sensor and four holes for use with Nyemrinju's clip. The new version also includes a much more rounded bottom for enhanced wearing comfort. Please download the Holder_v1.1 file together with the Clip_v1.0 or Nyemrinju's Clip. **Update 20.07.2018:** I uploaded an improved version 1.1 of the clip, addressing issues reported by users where their clip kept slipping off the holder too easily. The new design is slightly shorter and features bigger noses, but these modifications require printing with support due to their size.
