I'm working on a 3D printing project and I've got it set up quietly overnight. The nightstand has been turned upside down, which takes up a relatively small footprint of 45x40cm. The build size is 20x20x20cm and it's equipped with ramps and an ATX power supply for efficient operation. The TMC2208 stepper driver helps to minimize noise levels. A heated glass bed (MK2B) has been installed, along with NEMA 14 motors driving the X and Z axes, a NEMA 17 motor driving the Y axis, and a Wade-Bowden extruder mounted on the frame. Most of the parts have been printed with PLA, while the hotend carriage and X-motor carriage were printed in ABS. To-do list: - Clean up the messy FreeCAD drawing - Cut the original drawer in half and use it as a "dustbin" - Add more cable ducts for organization - Perform some optimizations to improve performance - Create a construction manual for anyone interested in rebuilding this printer
