Nighthawk 250 Pro Landing Gear (Custom)
thingiverse
I have designed a custom part for the Emax Nighthawk 250 Pro to support the quadcopter. So far, I've tried printing with PLA and 25% hex in-fill material and it's working well. Let me know if you have any other options or modifications I can make. Here are my print settings: Raft Support: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Standard Infill Material: 25%+ Notes: The PLA is holding up fine and has been tested on a MakerBot Replicator 2. Assembly Instructions: - Mount the landing gear onto the quad frame. - View of the front of the aerial support system. Video Documentation: I've taken a time-lapse video using a Makerbot Replicator 2 while building this landing gear for my Nighthawk 250 Pro. Design Notes: I used SolidWorks 2014 to create these custom sections and mounts. No extra fasteners are required as the hole size will shrink after printing, allowing you to self-tap the M3 8-10mm screw onto the landing gear without any extra effort.
