I'm excited to turn my nightcore flashlight into a versatile lamp for camping adventures. To achieve this, I'll need to attach a bulb and base combo that can be easily switched on and off by simply pressing the entire unit downwards. To create this useful accessory, I'll first print the bulb using translucent white PLA filament, ensuring it provides an even distribution of light when lit up. The base will be printed in black PLA, providing a sleek and durable foundation for my lamp design. I'm pleased to report that this DIY solution works far better than the cone-shaped diffuser I initially purchased but unfortunately lost. This custom-made bulb and base combo emits a bright, even light without overheating, making it perfect for camping trips or any other outdoor activities where reliable lighting is essential. The base features a thoughtful design element - a slot that allows the cord to fit snugly in place, preventing any accidental dislodging. Furthermore, the raised nub on top of the base provides an easy-to-use activation mechanism, allowing me to turn the lamp on and off with ease by simply pressing down on it.
