Night Visionaire - Servo connector holder for wing
thingiverse
The Night Visionaire from E-Flite requires a significant amount of fiddling with servo wires when removing or attaching the wings, but this device makes it incredibly easier. Simply attach the 2 connectors from the wing to this holder by gluing them in place, making sure most of each plug still sticks out and that they stick straight out. Then glue this assembly into the wing, ensuring it is flush with the wing. Add a longer Y cable inside the fuselage and 2 servo extension leads for the lights. Attach the sockets of these to the corresponding plugs now sticking out of the wing, taking note of their orientation. Remove them and glue them together in the correct order and orientation on top of each other. Then attach them back onto the wing and apply some glue to the outside of the sockets. Place the wing tube into position, slide the wing over it, and press the wing firmly against the fuselage. This should press the sockets into the fuselage and line them up perfectly. Allow the glue to dry completely before removing the wing. That's it! P.S. Be extremely careful not to use too much glue, as you risk permanently gluing the wing in place.
