I was driven by two objectives as I embarked on this project: making it effortless to locate my glass of water on my night stand even in complete darkness and pushing the boundaries of what's possible with a single extruder printer through experimentation with inlays. To achieve these goals, I designed a sleek coaster featuring luminous PLA inlays that emit a soft glow in low-light environments, allowing me to easily spot my drink without straining my eyes or fumbling around.
