Night Light Lamp
pinshape
I designed this night light specifically for my autistic son to stay in his room at night, and also for anyone who wants to print it with easily accessible parts. To get started, you'll need 2430mm of LED strip - I opted for the RGB variety with a remote control and dimmer function. You can find it on eBay at: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/291... Begin by cutting out a small notch at the bottom of the tube to guide the strip into place. Next, connect the cables inside the tube and push the IR sensor into its designated hole. Once you've got everything connected, simply place the dimmer box into the base and snap the whole thing together. I used gray ABS with 10% infill for the outside cover - white was out of stock. One of the best things about this design is that it can be easily customized to match any room's color scheme using different colors and filament types. This night light isn't just limited to serving as a nightlight, it can also serve as a stylish lamp.
