Revamped design: Helmet flashlight mount reduces weight, maintains functionality Initially, I created a helmet visor attachment for two high-lumen CREE SkyRay flashlights. However, the weight proved too much to bear, leading to a concept failure. To address this issue, I've redesigned the mount to accommodate only one flashlight. The 3D-printed gizmo still securely fastens to your helmet using a base plate and "slideclip" mount, allowing easy on-and-off access for day-to-night transitions. Improvements include lightened weight without compromising functionality.
