Niftymitter v0.1

thingiverse

Niftymitter, an open-source short-range FM transmitter based on Tetsuo Kogawa's design, has been updated with Version 0.1. This miniature device is housed within a 3mm acrylic or bamboo body and offers various hacking options. It can be used for small-scale radio broadcasts, creating a distributed PA system for performances, connecting personal audio players to car radios, or general audio experimentation. However, Version 0.1 faces some issues such as bulkiness, fragile acrylic corners, and troublesome cable tie constructions. The project's home is at http://www.openthing.org/products/niftymitter. Currently, the focus is on the development of v0.21, a radical redesign. Meanwhile, the instructions for v0.1 can be found on Tetsuo Kogawa's site and Rapid (UK supplier) for the required switch. The file contains parts for two devices due to its tiny size.
