thingiverse
Nien Nunb is a legendary character in the Star Wars universe. First introduced in the iconic 1983 film Return of the Jedi, he was brought to life with both puppetry and costumed acting skills during filming. The character's puppeteer was Mike Quinn, while Richard Bonehill portrayed him in wider shots. Nien Nunb's voice was provided by Kipsang Rotich, a talented Kenyan student who spoke fluently in his native Kalenjin language as well as in the Kikuyu language. Quinn and Rotich both reprised their roles for the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens and once again for the 2017 film Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I did not create this fan art, the talented modeler remains anonymous. Nien Nunb was created by Richard Marquand and is owned by Lucasfilm and The Walt Disney Company under copyright. It is strictly prohibited to sell this model or any items made from it.
