One of many experimental test subjects created by the Khach'vats Necrontyr Dynasty, I am a twisted parody of myself, crafted by the sadistic Crypteks of my Necron Dynasty. Many Tyranids in my Hive Fleet have been made similarly distorted for their own amusement. I decided to try my hand at printing one instead of making conversions for a change of pace. With a .2 nozzle, the print lines would be significantly reduced, but otherwise, the original Carnifex model is an exceptional sculpt and prints beautifully. I did nothing for post-print cleanup beyond removing the supports. A hasty paint job was applied so I could use it on the tabletop in games... and because I had already printed it. Print it as is with supports intact. I used Zigzag @15% with the roof option enabled, achieving excellent results. Unfortunately, I unintentionally printed at 100% infill, which took a day and a half to complete; however, you can easily print it with much less material. ++UPDATED July 11, 2019++ - The correct whole body has been added for printing, along with armor plates now included. - A single limb has been designed for the scything talons. Print at 100% plus a mirrored one, then another + mirror at approximately 80%. - A split set of the scything talons has been scaled properly for a large and smaller set in one easy print.
