I designed my cart to resemble a shark, giving it a sleek and streamlined appearance. The purpose of my cart is to glide smoothly along the tracks at a moderate pace while collecting data for testing purposes. Two inwardly protruding arches, 0.5 cm deep, serve as the wheel slots, where the wheels securely click into place. Measuring 13 cm in length and 4.5 cm in height, the cart's body provides ample space for its components. Two narrow rectangles on either side extend 0.5 cm outward and are 0.5 cm wide, accommodating the fan at the top of the cart. Three arrows on each side, measuring 1 cm in length, evoke the image of a shark's gills. I also created a face and a 3D fin on top, standing 2.5 cm tall, to further enhance the shark-like appearance. The ultimate goal was to design an efficient cart that collects data while gliding along the track with ease. To meet the requirements, I needed to incorporate two essential features: a wheel slot and a platform for the cart to sit on. As I progressed, I decided to add more details to make my cart resemble a shark. I also modified the original design by removing one feature and repositioning another. Assembly involves placing the wheels into the slots on the bottom of the cart. On top, position the fan on the two bars with the motor facing away from the front of the cart, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
