Here's how to print with precision, based on the original concept from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11261/#remixes. Included in this design is an accurate z-axis setting. To achieve exact prints, utilize a straight edge, which can be any flat surface, for your z-axis reference point. Attempting to print with a bridging layer will cause droopage and throw off all measurements, compromising the overall quality of your final product.
