<p>Nickel strips are mainly used to join batteries together especially 18650 types. But a bare nickel strips lying around close to any electrical source are very dangerous as well as having its edge sharp as well.</p> <p>Use this to store your nickel strip properly for safety. To use it, simply run one end out of one of the desired slots on the side, and that nickel strip's end go back into other slot for safe keeping. leaving some nickel strip outside of the spool waiting for you to take it and cut it the next time.</p> <p>The nickel strip inside should able to freely move and you also able to see the amount of the strips</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>No supports are required.</p> <p>Use modifier with the following parameters to have similar looks as Prusament spool has</p> <ul> <li>1mm slab</li> <li>0 top and bottom</li> <li>honeycomb infill pattern</li> <li>"spool solid.stl" is the best for this</li> </ul> <p>For the modifier above, you may want to</p> <ul> <li>increase perimeter to ensure spool's wall adheres well to the base</li> <li>increase infill density for the spool's wall adhesion to the base</li> </ul> <p>Or simply use the 3mf file provided with all the settings dialed in</p>
