Nickel Shuriken Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
I modified the original design to accommodate insertion of two captive nickels instead of bearings, also reducing the outer radius by 10 percent. A rendering of the spinner with its original radius is included. Similar to Sliph's original concept, you can compile this model from the OpenSCAD file; however, the minkowski processing required for it takes a considerable amount of time to render. To print: Slice the model and note the layer where the nickel holes are first covered. You can either split the sliced file into two sections or pause at an opportune point, then insert two nickels into each slot before allowing the printer to complete its cycle.
