Niche Zero NFCDisk
thingiverse
This is a working model that has been thoroughly tested. I've printed and used it, and it indeed reduces popcorning while improving grind fines variation. It's based on Dave Corbey's video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsxUzpH0VIw. I've made several changes to enhance its performance: 1. The "collecting" hole is angled, which I found resulted in faster grinds and less popcorning compared to a standard straight-walled design. 2. It features a "key-hole" for the metal key part that holds the inner burr; you'll need to raise it about 2mm so it sticks out top and fits into the rectangular hole. Your printer needs to be highly accurate and well-calibrated for this model to produce results with no further sanding or modifications required to fit the screw or metal key in their respective holes. As always, a .step file is attached, and an .f3d file will also be added as soon as I finalize the design.
