My niece has a super small dog, and she didn't have a cozy spot for him to hang out, so I designed and printed with SOVB 3D filament (black and red alumina) - what a great way to welcome this adorable little pup. The top of the nook is 5 centimeters long and 3 centimeters wide, and it's only 1 centimeter deep. The nook itself is 5 centimeters long by 4.4 centimeters wide (with the advanced options), and it's 3.1 centimeters deep. It took me exactly three hours to print the entire nook - that's a lot of time, but it was worth it in the end! I used a 20% filling rate, an 80% print speed, a 215-degree PLA printing temperature, a 60-degree platform temperature, and a 0.15 layer thickness. The hull thickness is 1.2 millimeters, and there's another 1.2 millimeter of material above and below the top. No support was needed for this project - it printed perfectly on its own! All my designs and templates are available for anyone to use for free, so if you like what I've created, consider donating to show your appreciation.
