This 3D model is built with real data, making it a highly realistic setup of the city of Nice, France. The setup includes nine distinct groups of buildings, divided between top and side sections, allowing users to customize buildings with different colors, materials, and textures. These building groups can be turned on or off at will. Each building is meticulously UV mapped, ensuring that overlapping areas blend seamlessly together. This 3D model features flat geometry, with all buildings sitting directly on the "floor" surface without any elevation data. The model uses polygonal quads and tris to create smooth surfaces and quick render times. Importantly, this model is completely untextured but still renders quickly. To prevent any confusion, the “streets” in the title refer to the spaces between buildings and are not part of a separate 3D model. There are additional models available for cityscapes that include roads as actual 3D features. These models are compatible with each other when certain commands are used, like copy-paste. This data reflects the real city but could potentially miss certain buildings depending on how much detail is included in OpenStreetMap. If necessary, these areas will be added later with an updated version of the model, at no additional cost to existing buyers. Similar situations occur with building additions and future urban planning projects, resulting in some areas already marked as occupied despite actual non-existence. This principle applies to all cityscape models available, offering users a real city view through this unique perspective. Users are recommended to use the same model format that corresponds with an area 3D model of roads.
