Nice Guitar String Winder

Nice Guitar String Winder

I scoured various styles of guitar string winders and was underwhelmed by their structural integrity, as most were 100% 3D printed parts or had a rough action that seemed unlikely to be smooth. Some used a screw like mine, but the screws stuck out, posing a risk of scratching the tuners. I designed this winder to fit snugly around a 40mm M3 screw, ensuring the socket cap and M3 Nyloc nut are recessed for a seamless fit. Hardware: * M3 * 40mm Socket Cap Screw * 624Z Bearing * M3 Washers (one at the socket cap, one between the bearing and handle) * M3 Nyloc Nut The design includes built-in support for the nut trap and bearing trap overhangs, with a .25 mm layer that can be easily trimmed using a hobby knife. The bearing is intended to fit tightly, and printing a thicker first layer may require trimming in the nut trap and bearing trap areas. I created this custom winder specifically for my acoustic guitar, so it may not fit other instruments. I recommend printing the body first to test its compatibility with your guitar's tuner.
