The village cemetery of An Bang is a famous cemetery considered the most luxurious and majestic in Vietnam. It is located in the fishing village of An Bang, Vinh An commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province, 35 kilometers east of Hue city. Here are thousands of colorful and sized burial sites with some worth billions of dollars. The architecture of the cemetery combines all elements of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, and even Islam. The An Bang cemetery is not only famous in Vietnam but also around the world. It's called by locals and foreign media as "the city of ghosts An Bang", "city of the dead", "dead man's resort", and "paradise of mausoleums". Although this cemetery is not a tourist destination, it still attracts many tourists to visit.
