Splatoon 2 has an awesome feature that lets you switch between loadouts quickly using amiibos. The appeal of the Switch is its portability, but carrying around multiple amiibos isn't really practical. I thought, why not make it something more portable and convenient? I figured out a way to use NFC215 tags instead of amiibos. These tags are compatible with any NFC device, so you can use them for other purposes if you're not into cutting open amiibos. I designed the tag holder to fit 8 slots, one for each Splatoon amiibo. You just need to insert your NFC tags inside and then cut out some icons to mark which one does what. I've included my preferred loadout as a reference. The design is made in openSCAD, so you can easily modify it to suit your needs. UPDATE: I highly recommend checking out jewzaam's version of this project on Thingiverse! It's designed with multiple parts and requires some assembly, but it's way more portable, expandable, and probably more comfortable than my original design.
