Nexus/cell dock / tablet dock / usb rack / stylus holder / cord routes
thingiverse
This is an upgraded nexus stand, featuring a conveniently placed phone slot up front. Initially designed for my Nexus 6, I found that it required about 1mm trimming on each side to accommodate the device perfectly. Realizing most smartphones aren't nearly as large, I chose to keep this model intact. Six additional USB holders have been integrated into the stand's design, along with two stylus receptacles and cord guides that travel upwards towards the rear. The back support for the tablet has also undergone revisions, allowing it to cradle the device effectively while keeping in mind potential support needs. As part of my refining process, I had faced an issue with warping on the print bed despite temperature adjustments. Fortunately, improvements made during subsequent printing runs resulted in significantly better layer adhesion, likely a benefit for future creators of this stand model. The PLA printing itself remains relatively straightforward; simply follow standard instructions for self-explanatory setup and completion.
