This mount is designed specifically for cars featuring a Nexus 7 tablet in a single DIN head unit slot that has been installed within a double DIN space. The alignment with the holes on a 1990's GM head unit bracket ensures a proper fit. However, it remains uncertain whether this mount will work in other vehicle models. For installation, use small sheet metal or wood screws to secure the mount to the head unit bracket, following the same procedure as attaching a standard head unit. The screw holes have a diameter of 2.6mm and depth of 10mm; various screw sizes have been found to work effectively.
