Instructions to Combine Nexus and Scanner First, detach the screws holding the scanner in place, then carefully extract the circuit board. Next, solder a USB cable to the back of the RJ50 connector; once complete, reassemble the scanner with the USB cable neatly threaded through the top. You can utilize the original screws to secure the scanner firmly against the tablet's rear. Plug the male end of the USB cable into a USB OTG adapter, and carefully position both within the printed enclosure. For added protection from shocks or abrasions, apply a screen protector and wrap 2.2 mm craft foam around the entire tablet. Finally, secure the assembled parts together with screws.
