Big shout out to 3dYeti for the fantastic design. This is a straight Remix of their amazing design, modified to add a hole for the adapter cable and ensure seamless compatibility with my late 2012 Nexus 7. Check it out on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43980 The build fits my late 2012 Nexus 7 like a glove, perfectly snug and secure. I carefully push the Nexus in from the side to attach it properly, making sure not to over-extend the extruding volume buttons. For your reference, the measurements for my late 2012 Nexus 7 are 7.8 inches by 4.7 inches by 0.41 inches, weighing a modest 12 ounces. Enjoy your new case! Instructions: Choose some vibrant ABS plastic in the color of your preference. The print is divided into two parts, just like 3dYeti's, utilizing high-quality 1.75mm ABS plastic. Here are my trusty ReplicatorG settings for a smooth print experience: - Object infill percentage: 30 - Layer height (mm): 0.27 - Number of shells: 1 - Feed rate (mm/s): 40 - Travel feed rate: 55 - Print temperature: 220 My go-to ReplicatorG settings for the plastic are: - Filament diameter (mm): 1.82 And my Extruder setup looks like this: - Nozzle diameter (mm): 0.4 After a lengthy print time of three hours and twenty-eight minutes, I was thrilled with the result! Your finished product will feature four sections that can be easily snapped off. Be prepared to apply some force, but take care not to strip or break any threads in the process.
