Nexus 6P Desk and Car Charging Dock

This dock for the Nexus 6P is designed to be versatile, capable of being used on a desk or mounted in a car. Holes are carefully designed to fit seamlessly into ProClip car mounts. For desk use, simply print additional legs which lock securely into place. A dedicated hole allows for easy hot gluing of a USB-C cable in place. Crafted specifically for the Spigen SGP11797 Rugged Armor Case for Nexus 6P, this dock requires minor adjustments when paired with different cases or no case at all. The dock itself can be printed without support if your 3D printer handles bridging well, however support is essential for locking connectors on the legs. The USB-C cable used was sourced from the Fi bricks Christmas present and hot glued into place while carefully bent. The cable's position was held for a few minutes as the glue set before being smoothed with a dremeel to ensure it lay flat with the dock's bottom. Additionally, tack putty was applied to the dock's base to keep it securely in place when removing the smartphone. More photos are included for reference. This design draws inspiration from the Nexus 6P Dock - No Case found on Thingiverse and incorporates elements of the NEXUS logo from Nexus 5 Dock with Charging.
