Nexus 5x Phone Case

A straightforward case for Google's Nexus 5x phone. Several designs are featured here (one of which is mine), but they all tend to be flat against the surface of the phone and offer minimal screen protection. This particular model hugs more aggressively around the front of the phone, conforming to its curves. The benefit is that it provides more comprehensive protection - safeguarding both the camera bump and the screen and corners. However, there's no way you can print this with PLA or ABS or any other rigid filament and still get it to fit on the phone. It really needs to be printed with TPU or another flexible filament. I suspect that if you stop your slicer at the 10.10 mm layer using PLA or ABS, it might just fit on a phone. But I haven't tried this myself. If someone does and it works, let me know and I'll update this information accordingly. Two models are uploaded here. The "Flat Bottom" version has thicker edges at the bottom. While the one that hugs the curve of the phone prints well in PLA, I've struggled to print TPU unsupported at that angle. Thus, the flat version was created. One benefit is slightly more protection along that edge. If you're a printing expert or can successfully print TPU with dissolvable supports, the curved version looks better. But it's really quite difficult to print.
