NEXUS 5X phone amplifier
thingiverse
This is a substantial amplifier, crafted to accommodate my Nexus 5X comfortably without tipping over. The printing process takes considerable time, approximately 9.5 hours in my case, utilizing the PowerSpec 3D pro with specifications of .03 layer thickness, 4 layers, 50mm/s speed, and White PLA material at a temperature of 215C on Blue painters tape. The slot for the phone measures 2 7/8" wide x 3/8" long x 3/4" deep, making it suitable for any phone with these dimensions or smaller and featuring a speaker at the bottom front. I have successfully tested this amplifier on my MotoX, which fits perfectly and delivers great sound quality. It's loud enough to allow me to hear my podcast in the shower, a feat that was previously unachievable without the amplifier. The accompanying images are of the MotoX in use. Feel free to share any modifications you make so I can appreciate your creativity. Print Settings: Printer: Power Spec 3D Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 10%
