Simple Case for Nexus 5X. To create an infill pattern on the back of this case, set the number of bottom layers to zero and select a preferred infill design. The shown pattern features honeycomb at 20% infill density. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: Not Required Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Walls of this case are 1.2mm thick, which provides substantial strength when printed with two perimeters and 100% infill density. Using supports for the side button slot and possibly the charging port slot will ensure successful printing, especially considering bridging limitations. For an infill design on the back, use zero bottom layers. When printing in ABS material, a good result can be achieved by scaling up to 100.5%. This adjustment accommodates shrinkage during the printing process. V2 Update: A revised version of this case features added interior fillets for increased strength and reduced overhangs. Additionally, the thin overhang near the side buttons has been thickened. It is highly recommended to use V2 for optimal results.
