I was captivated by BLeds Nexus 5 case but craved some changes. Here's an iteration with those alterations. Currently, I'm utilizing one printed in glow-in-the-dark abs. 08/23/2016 - The resulting print proved too fragile for practical use. I filled some cracks and it works just fine now. In fact, the slits allow the model to be printed a little smaller. 08/24/2016 - Ninja flex printing went smoothly. It fused tightly with kapton tape on several letters. Since it's so flexible, it can be printed slightly smaller. Also, the earphone jack needs widening for larger male jacks. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: I tested at 15% fill Layer .2 1 Shell Feed Rate 30/30 The open scad file assumes that the BLedNexus5.stl file is in the same directory. This is why it renders as just a green plank here. It can't find the file. Custom Section: Changes: The Customizer will let you enter your emergency contact number and engrave it on the smooth side of the print, so if you lose your phone someone can call you. The Customizer also allows you to set a scale factor as part of the parameters that you enter in case you need to make it larger or smaller. There are slits in each corner of the case. This makes it possible to put your phone into and remove it from the case several times without breaking the case. The usb connector hole has been enlarged so at least my cord will plug into it firmly. Some holes have been added in the general area of the speakers, allowing more sound to get through. This is a work in progress, so I'm eager for any feedback you might have.
