Easily attach your Google Nexus 5 smartphone to your Giant Escape 3 handlebar stem with this DIY bike mount. The mount uses zipties for a secure fit; apply electrical tape on contact points for added stability. Note that it's designed for naked Nexus 5 phones with or without screen protectors. Look out for an improved version soon with a looser fit to prevent scratches. In version 3, the mount now comes with built-in inductive charging capabilities, but you may need to adjust dimensions based on your QI coil. The phone fits snugly and won't slip off. To print, use a Makerbot 2 with 8% fill, 2 shells, and 0.3mm layer height. Don't forget to rotate the object so that 'nexus' is upright before mounting with zipties.
