The Nexus 4 wireless charger orb could be perfect if not for its tendency to let the phone slip off. Many reviews criticize it for this very reason, giving it a low rating. I bought one and encountered the same problem. To solve it, I designed a stand that keeps the wireless charger upright and has an edge to prevent the phone from sliding around without obstructing its use. This stand can accommodate phones in both upright and sideways positions while charging. For added stability, you might want to use double-sided tape to secure the orb inside the frame, although it's optional. I recommend Scotch Heavy Duty Mounting Clear Tape for this purpose. Additionally, drilling through the bottom "tongue" of the stand allows it to be attached to a desk's edge for extra stability without affecting its functionality in both portrait and landscape modes. Remember, when printing the design in Blender, you may need to adjust the size by 1-2% to fit your charger perfectly.
