Nexus 4 Mount
thingiverse
My brother asked me to create a custom mount for his Nexus 4 to attach it to his car as a DVR using a standard tripod mount that he had to drill into himself. He only used the holder part of the mount without utilizing the "BTM" print, which is meant to be paired with a separate mount. I suggested scaling down the print slightly to accommodate his phone if he didn't have a case. This project is still a work in progress. To ensure a clean cut, it's essential to position the print on its side during slicing; otherwise, you'll need to add brim and supports, which would be unnecessary and cumbersome. Print Settings: * Printer Brand: Printrbot * Printer Model: Simple Black * Rafts: Not necessary * Supports: None * Infill: 40% Post-Printing Instructions: The mounting hole must be drilled into the print yourself. I recommend using zip ties to secure the print to the mount, as an added precaution in case the screw hole becomes stripped. This step is not mandatory but highly suggested for a more secure attachment.
