This Enclosure Won't Work with WEMOS D1 Mini Versions Below 3.0! Beta version of an enclosure for a Nextion 3.2 display and a WEMOS D1 Mini version *3.0+* to control and manage temperature and humidity of a printer enclosure. TODO: - Build a rear plate - Integrate connectors for the BME280 in the printer and filament enclosure - Integrate connector for the enclosure PWM fan - Reconfigure this thing for that connectors - Integrate connector for LED light (ws2818/sk6812) - Release a working configuration for the WEMOS - ... - ... - Find time to manage all of them... I'm trying to design the enclosure so that no supports were needed. _______________________ Update 26.10.2018: Now I think I know what I want to do. Not only monitoring of temperatures and controlling of fans. I'll use the display also to control and monitor the printer via OctoPrint. Inspired by sidddy (https://github.com/sidddy/Oxtion), I'm making the first betas for the display and the esp8266. It is currently not available. ___________________________________________________________ Update 24.10.2018: The print was better than expected. At this point I'll stop any further modifications on the enclosure. First, I'll develop the GUI for the Nextion and the programming for the WEMOS. I'm still a little undecided on what the final result should look like... I think I'll need a little bit of time for that (my holidays are over).... ___________________________________________________________ Update 19.10.2018, 8 pm: Started print of the first prototype because tomorrow my display will arrive (just in draft quality)... I post the result tomorrow (print ETL: 6 hours) ___________________________________________________________ Version v0.2: - Moved Wemos D1 mini to the bottom of the enclosure (now the reset button is reachable) - Added a pcb holding for a connector pcb - Added holes for the connector pcb - Added hole for the Wemos reset button (in further version there will be a button in the enclosure) - Added mounting brackets for the rear plate - Added rear plate - Added/updated a few other small things
