NexImage 10 USB Cable Support
thingiverse
I love my Celestron NexImage 10 imager, but it completely lacks any support for the heavy USB3 cable. Within months, my connector was stretched and I had a rough time keeping connections. I originally printed with the support tube down using supports, and looks like this is going to work perfectly. I've had a few iterations to adjust size and spacing, but decided to post this as a V1. Will update if I adjust it. Created in Tinkercad. Not sure why it's not truly 'round', but worried more about functionality. Left walls thin for some flexibility. The photos are a print @ .2, with @ 70mm/s, so it could be smoother. Wasn't sure if it would need another tweak. The first image is a reprint on it's side, with the opening at about 45 degrees. Still with support touching plate only. Simply slide USB cable through port, plug into back of camera, then slide the cap onto the camera, keeping the cable aligned. Obviously, use at your own risk. Look forward to comments or suggestions.
