Newtonian Optical Telescope Assembly 8" apperture

This telescope project follows Newtonian design principles and features a 4-foot length and 8-inch aperture. It was created in 2014 by the designer, who utilized Creo Parametric for designing and ANSYS for structural analysis. The mirror set was sourced from China. A specialized manufacturer aided in manufacturing, with the optical tube made from rolled MS sheet and other parts crafted via lathe, milling, CNC milling, and CNC wire cut. Most components are aluminum, and after assembly, results met expectations.
