A Newton's cradle illustrates the laws of conservation of both momentum and energy through a line-up of suspended, swinging balls. When one ball on the end is hit, it causes a chain reaction of the other spheres, each moving with different velocities, yet still observing the principles of conservation. It's quite entertaining to watch!
