New York Slice Board Game Insert
thingiverse
Insert for the board game New York Slice keeps slices in a more thematic pizza shape in the box, rather than a big mess or other stacking methods. Holders for cards are also included. Print four of the corners plus four of the spacers. If you have a larger print bed, print four of the joined parts instead. Holes are in the back of the corners to save filament since it does not act as a container, only the surface facing the inside is structural. Print two special card holders. Corners go into the corners, spacers fit snugly between them. They should all fit with only a little wiggle room to spare. Card holders clip loosely onto the corner pieces so they don't slide too much in the box. If you have trouble getting the slices out, remove a piece of the insert and then put it back after. I was going to attempt to add a divot to one of the pieces to make it easier, but removing a piece is just as simple. The card holders ended up slightly higher than intended. They raise the lid a tad, but toward the front it's not a significant factor. **EDIT 2018-03-25**: A v2 of the corners and special holder has been added so they should notch into each other, but I have not yet personally tried it. With the reduced size of the v2 special holder, three will need to be printed if used. **EDIT 2019-04-22**: The files including the New York Slice logo were removed by request of Bezier Games. **EDIT 2019-04-28**: I had to upload as a new thing since the old one was removed due to the logo and it won't be restored.
