This new X end and idler for Mendel Prusa will provide more space for the Z axis movement; currently, only STL files are available as my 3D printer is not yet ready. Upon completion, I'll test the modifications. The Z-axis belt intersects with the triangle frame's threaded rod, causing limited space near 50mm. This modification solves that issue. The X carriage also requires adjustment to accommodate the new belt clamp position; using my version of the X carriage eliminates the need for a standard clamp – instead, use zip ties. Additionally, customize the Z-axis bushing as per your machine requirements. STL files for the bushing are available now, featuring slight tapering and size adjustments to fit with other components. Testing is pending the arrival of some parts.
