New Wyze Recessed Bracket
thingiverse
I love Wyze sensors, but I'm a minimalist at heart - I want my tech to blend in seamlessly with my surroundings. That's why these nifty brackets are a game-changer for me. They allow you to have your Wyze sensor right where you need it without it being an eyesore. To install them, start by drilling two 1-inch holes - one on the door and another aligned perfectly with it on the jam. Make sure they're just deep enough to conceal the bracket's head. Next, on one side of the bracket, drill a hole that's about 7/8 inch in diameter and 1-1/2 inches deep, while the other side requires a 5/8-inch bit with the same depth. Now, simply slide your Wyze sensor and magnet into the bracket, followed by sliding the brackets into place. When it's time to swap out the battery, grab some needle-nose pliers and tweezers, and use those two openings to pull it out smoothly.
