New World Monkey Skeletal Scan, Pelvis and Vertebrae
pinshape
Want a monkey? Build one yourself! This is a scan of the pelvis, lumbar (lower back) and caudal vertebrae (partial tail) of a new world monkey, possibly Columbian monkey (the exact species is unknown at this time; if you can identify it, please share). A damaged museum specimen was scanned during repairs. The skeleton provides an excellent example for studying comparative skeletal morphology in primates. If used for any purpose other than personal enjoyment, proper attribution should be given with a comment to the original author. If printed, please post a photo and visit http://www.thingiverse.com/dricketts/designs to see more scans of skulls and bones.
