New Tool Rest for the Dremel Lathe

<p>New, improved tool rest for my original Dremel Lathe design you can find here: &nbsp;<a href="https://www.printables.com/model/175163-3d-printed-dremel-lathe">https://www.printables.com/model/175163-3d-printed-dremel-lathe</a></p><p>Hardware required:</p><p>4 x M2 x 12mm hex head bolts<br>4 x M2 nuts<br>1 x M4 x 12mm hex bolt<br>1 x M4 nut<br>1 x M4 washer<br>2 x M3 x 12mm hex bolts<br>2 x M3 nuts</p><p>Printed Parts:</p><p>PTEG filament<br>0.15mm layer height<br>100% infill<br>No skirt or brim<br>Supports under the nut gaps for the base plate and top plate parts</p><p>The .3MF files are scaled and oriented properly. &nbsp;If you're using the .STL files orient them with the open nuts facing down (with supports in those nut holes). &nbsp;Scale to 101% to achieve correct clearances for the bolts and slider.</p><p>Assembly is pretty obvious - an M2 screw at each corner.<br>Insert the cams into the side slots and secure with the M3 bolts.<br>Attach the tool rest part with the M4 bolt with the washer between the rest and the top plate.</p><p>Slide the base out to adjust the distance to the workpiece in the lathe and rotate the tool rest to an appropriate angle. &nbsp;Lock the slider with the cam levers.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Regards, Paul</p>
