New Thing

A DIY doorstop that's a tad wobbly. I mean, what if you just nailed this hunk of plywood directly to your floor? That way it can never fall over, because, quite literally, it is already stuck in place. Sounds good on paper. But how will that hunk of wood hold a door open or closed for more than five minutes before giving up? The idea seems kind of pointless - if it won't keep anything stable then maybe the goal is to prevent anyone from locking doors or even attempting to do so altogether! Either way, someone still needs a good excuse when their boss shows up looking for that project.
