New Technology NYC Subway Train R142 "B" Subway Car
thingiverse
I have spent months perfecting everything to get this subway car just right. It's currently in beta testing, so be prepared for a lot of bugs. This is a R142 "B" subway car; you'll need 6 of these to make a complete 10 Car R142 Set or 3 of them to form a 5-Car set. These cars fit together as follows in the 5-Car set: First, attach the "A" Subway Car; next, connect the "B" Subway Car, followed by two more identical "B" Subway Cars, then attach the last car, which is an "A" Subway Car. For a 10 Car R142 Set, these cars combine as follows (note that you can join two 5-car sets and later attach them): start with an "A" Subway Car; following this, connect three identical "B" Subway Cars; after those, fit on the remaining "A" Subway Car, followed by a "B" Subway Car; then attach three more consecutive "B" Subway Cars, finishing with the final car as another "A" Subway Car. Please make sure you correctly position and securely attach the couplers in order for these trains to run smoothly without becoming stuck in curve track. When joining all of these cars together, remember that each one requires separate printed and connected end components - these connect onto both wheelbase ends on top of and beneath the body as well as being securely glued onto other like components coming off each of your individual train units. To successfully assemble all of your carriages into a working subway system, make sure to print additional coupling components in between, carefully attach the front portion at its correct placement location while simultaneously fitting corresponding ends to back & forth connecting positions allowing a steady secure run without malfunction - so the pieces do not disconnect during operation due improper joining which can be prevented by placing some temporary hold through simple adhesives securing those critical interfaces if found slightly weakened upon connection efforts. For now, take on that fun of creating as more awesome printables get unveiled: R40 Slant Subway "A" and "B" Car coming soon. Up next are: Subway Stations & elevated station locations All New: Elevated track for Subway trains made exclusively here Subway train paths through all newly added urban areas New structures - elevated trestles More to explore, wait!
