New rack actuator for NEMA17
thingiverse
This work is an electric actuator specifically designed for NEMA17 applications. It's relatively straightforward, with a simple design. The configuration of this actuator includes 12 pinion gear teeth and 28 rack gear teeth. To assemble this project, you'll need to gather several components. M3 bolts and M3 nuts are essential for the build. When operated, the actuator exerts a pull torque of approximately 1-2 kgf and achieves a maximum stroke of 40mm. The stroke length is directly influenced by the number of rack gear teeth in use.
