During wake, standing still with Neo-Magnet 3 in place leaves Neo-4 unaffected. In motion, as demonstrated in the video, the black footbar pushes the attached blue bar, which forces Neo-2 towards the magnetic field of Neo-1. This repulsion raises the leg off the ground. To return to standing, a spring pushes Neo-2 away from Neo-1, reducing their repulsive force; this allows Neo-3 to push Neo-4, swinging the leg back down while also returning the footbars to their original positions. The strength of the forces between magnets is controlled by adjusting their distances and cross sections.
