A model of the New Flyer D60LFR 60-foot articulated diesel bus is designed and ready to print at North American N-scale (1:160). The design takes into account this scale in mind, but feel free to experiment with different scales. For scaling purposes, the real bus measures 18.5 metres long (~61 feet). For now, a solid print is used with only modest details, leaving out a few fiddly pieces that will need to be added post-printing: * Wheels and axles are left off. * The exhaust pipe is not included. * Side mirrors are missing. If access to a resin printer becomes available soon, a significantly more detailed model may be attempted. This current model doesn't actually bend in the middle, so there are two files for printing: one straight and one posed as if it were turning. The model is symmetric side-to-side, making it easy to get a right-hand-turn by mirroring the bent model. This bus is one of two varieties currently operating in Ottawa Ontario, and this is the newer and "sleeker" of the two. A slightly older D60LF may be modeled sometime.
