New Dual head extruder including height sensor and head adjustment height
thingiverse
This is a dual head extruder designed for the Max Micron 3D printer, featuring fans, an auto-leveling sensor, and an adjustable mechanism for one extruder. It includes a height sensor, IR or BLtouch (2 different configurations), along with an adjustable height mechanism for the sensor. The design also accommodates routing of harnesses and pipes from the dual head. I have included two X_b files for SolidWorks designers to modify the design to fit other printers. For the main extruder fan, I used ID 111558022522 from eBay or searched for a 12V 35x35x10 mm 3510S brushless cooling fan or SUNON KDE1235PFV2-8MS FAN 35x35x10mm 12VDC0.7W ball bearing. For the filament vent, I used ID RS526149135CN from eBay or searched for a 12V 2 pin DC 40mm 4010 Blower radial Cooling fan ball bearing. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 40% Notes: I print first in PLA and then in ABS. This design showcases a demonstration of extruder height adjustment.
